Bio Rings

ReefX® Bio Rings are a high surface area media for bacterial filtration in aquariums with multiple uses.

The hollow cylindrical shape allows for dense packing of the Bio Rings whilst ensuring excellent water flow around the media preventing build ups of detritus.  This makes them ideal for use in sumps below and around filtration equipment and in closed reactors or canister filters.

Bio Rings are pH neutral and free of phosphates.  The massive surface area provides a high area for beneficial bacteria to colonise and remove waste from the water.

The unique shape and texture also make Bio Rings an excellent base for mounting coral fragments, and as spacers when constructing aquascapes.

Add anywhere in an aquarium and as bio filter media

Rinse before use.  You can use as little or as much as you need, in high and low flow areas.
